Manufactured by Kuli Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as KL), the pneumatic slewing crane is air-powered deck lifting equipment, strictly designed and fabricated in accordance with all mainstream classification society rules and international maritime safety standards.
Driven by compressed air, the crane realizes full pneumatic control for hoisting, luffing and 360° continuous slewing. Without electric motors or hydraulic oil circuits, it features intrinsic explosion-proof performance, perfectly suitable for flammable and dangerous zones such as oil tankers, chemical carriers and LNG vessels. The pneumatic motor delivers stepless, smooth speed regulation, with built-in mechanical self-locking devices on all moving parts. The crane locks loads firmly without slipping when the ship heels within 5°, eliminating falling risks during lifting operations.
The main column and jib adopt high-strength box steel with heavy marine anti-corrosion epoxy coating, resisting long-term salt spray and open-air deck exposure. All pneumatic valves, cylinders and sealing elements are marine-grade 316 stainless steel fittings with cold-resistant sealing rings, avoiding seal hardening and failure under frigid conditions. The whole system runs with low noise, no spark generation and low maintenance demand.
Standard safe working load ranges from 0.5T to 12T. Custom jib lengths, working radii and pedestal sizes are available to match different vessel deck layouts. We provide full cryogenic winterization packages for Arctic & Yamal projects: low-temperature alloy structural components, special anti-freeze pneumatic lubricants and trace heating systems enable stable continuous operation at ambient temperatures as low as -52°C. RS, CCS, BV and other classification certificates can be applied upon clients’ requests.
Controlled by pneumatic pendant handle with simple operation logic, the crane requires only ship’s standard compressed air supply to work. Widely deployed on tankers, chemical ships, LNG carriers and offshore supply vessels for handling provisions, hoses, maintenance tools and deck spare parts.
