The material for the rope core can be organic or cotton, asbestos, or metal The steel wire rope with organic core has great flexibility and elasticity, good wetting properties, but cannot withstand lateral pressure and may experience high temperatures from time to time; The characteristics of asbestos core steel wire rope are similar to the above, but it can work under high temperature conditions; The metal core is divided into independent steel wire ropes Qa and steel wire strands QNi. Metal core steel wire rope has high strength and can withstand high temperature and lateral pressure, but its lubricity is poor. In general, organic core steel wire ropes are commonly used, and when working at high temperatures, it is advisable to use Shiwei core or metal core When burning multiple layers on a drum, it is advisable to use steel wire ropes with metal cores.
